A GOOD FEED

Lobster (of course!)

Due to popular demand (!), listed below are various eating establishments that I would recommend, suiting all tastes and budgets.
I am of course unable to guarantee that they all serve lobster...

There are of course many other great restaurants, but I've concentrated on my particular favourites.

Unless shown, the food served at the establishment is traditional to the country concerned.

(Away from the city, this is probably the best pub grub for miles around).
Tel: 0131 336 2035

DOGS, THE
110 Hanover Street, Edinburgh EH2 1DR
(Opened at the start of 2008, this is a great little eatery with a menu championing Scottish and British fare. I recommend the Onion & Cider Soup for starters, and the venison main course was superb. The atmosphere is very informal, albeit a bit quirky if you're not a doggy fan).
Tel: 0131 220 1208

RENDEZVOUS
10a Queensferry Street, Edinburgh EH2 4PG
(It's said that you can't judge a book by its cover. The same applies to Rendezvous, as you have to go up some back stairs to enter this restaurant and the exterior of the building could do with a bit of a facelift. But the food is excellent and the service is attentive yet not over-bearing. I'll happily return).

Web: www.edinburghrendezvous.co.uk

ROTI

McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant
North Market Building, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Boston, Massachusetts 02116
(A fantastic seafood restaurant with an extensive selection to suit all tastes. Menu printed daily due to the ever-changing availability of the fish and shellfish. I had a cup of the traditional clam chowder, followed by the Maine Lobster salad - both were excellent).

Houlihan's

LOS ANGELES
The Grill on Hollywood
Suite 407, 6801 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, California 90028
(Situated next to the Kodak Theatre, this restaurant serves high-quality food alongside a very comprehensive wine list. Although a bit pricey, you get what you pay for. I would imagine the atmosphere is usually calm and intimate - when I was there with friends, we unfortunately had to contend with a very loud party on an adjacent table. Despite this, the meal still ranks as my best American dinner so far. The double cut pork chop with apples and zucchini was superb.)
